Who we are

Snow Retention Warehouse is based at 2 Chisholm Crt, Ajax, ON L1S 4N8. This policy explains how we collect, use and protect your personal information when you visit our site or buy from us. We follow Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and other privacy laws that apply.

What we collect

Information you give us: name, email, phone, shipping and billing address, order details, and anything you send us by email or form.
Payment information: handled by our payment processors. We don't store full card numbers.
Information collected automatically: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, and how you use the site, through cookies and similar tools.

How we use it

To process, ship and support your orders, including returns and warranty claims
To answer your questions by phone, chat and email, recommend products for your roof, and send quotes
To prevent fraud and keep the site secure
To improve the site and understand how it's used
To send marketing emails, only if you've agreed. You can unsubscribe at any time.

We don't sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the store, such as:

Shopify, our store platform, including checkout, contact forms, store analytics, email and messaging, and order automation
Payment processors, to process your payment
ShipTime and the shipping carriers it books, such as UPS or Purolator, to quote and deliver your order
HighLevel (through LeadConnector), our phone, chat and email support platform, to answer your questions and recommend the right products
Google, through Google Analytics and the Google & YouTube channel, to measure site traffic and list our products on Google
RealtimeStack, to show us real-time activity on the site
GTranslate, to translate the site into other languages

Some of these providers store or process information outside Canada, including in the United States. That information may be subject to the laws of those countries. We may also share information if required by law.

Cookies

We use cookies and similar tools to run the cart and checkout, remember your preferences, power our support chat, and understand how the site is used. These include Shopify's store analytics, Google Analytics, RealtimeStack and HighLevel. We don't use advertising or remarketing cookies.

You can manage cookies in your browser settings, though some parts of the site may not work without them. You can opt out of Google Analytics with Google's opt-out add-on.

How long we keep it

We keep order records as long as needed for tax, accounting and warranty purposes, generally 7 years. We keep other information only as long as we need it for the purposes above.
