1. About these terms

This website is operated by Snow Retention Warehouse. Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Snow Retention Warehouse. By using this site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms of Service and to the policies listed in section 2. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

2. Other policies

These policies are part of these terms:

Refund Policy: returns, restocking fees and warranty
Shipping Policy: delivery, rates and damage claims
Privacy Policy: how we collect and use your personal information

If these terms conflict with one of those policies on a topic the policy covers, the policy applies.

3. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least the age of majority where you live to place an order. If you create an account, keep your login details private. You're responsible for activity on your account.

4. Products and information

We try to describe products, specifications and images accurately, but we don't guarantee that all information is complete or error-free. Colours can look different on screen. We may correct errors, update information, or discontinue products at any time.

It's your responsibility to confirm that a product suits your roof type, building and local requirements before ordering.

5. Prices, payment and taxes

Prices are in Canadian dollars and may change without notice. Applicable taxes and shipping are calculated at checkout. If a product is listed at an incorrect price, we may cancel the order and refund any payment.

6. Orders and cancellation

An order is accepted when we send an order confirmation. We may refuse or cancel any order, or limit quantities, including in cases of pricing errors, stock issues or suspected fraud. If we cancel, we'll refund any payment.

To change or cancel an order, contact us as soon as possible. Changes need our written approval. Orders that have shipped can't be cancelled; see the Refund Policy for returns.

7. Custom orders, powder coating and installation

Powder coating and other custom work are available on request, at extra cost. For powder coating, you must provide the RAL colour number. We don't choose or match colours. Cost and colour must be approved in writing before we place the order. Custom and powder-coated items can't be returned.

You're responsible for installing products correctly, following the manufacturer's instructions, and meeting building codes and other local requirements, unless we've agreed in writing to supervise installation.

8. Intellectual property

The content on this site, including text, images, logos and product information, belongs to us or our suppliers. You may not copy or reuse it without our permission.

9. Acceptable use

You may not use the site to break the law, infringe anyone's rights, upload malicious code, collect other users' information, interfere with the site's security, or submit false or misleading information.

10. Comments and submissions

If you send us reviews, feedback or ideas, we may use them without paying you or crediting you. Don't submit anything unlawful, defamatory or that infringes someone else's rights. We may remove any submission.

11. Third-party links and tools

The site may link to or use third-party websites and tools. We don't control them and aren't responsible for their content or practices.

12. Disclaimer

Except for the warranty in our Refund Policy and any rights you have under applicable law, the site and its content are provided "as is" and "as available", without other warranties.

13. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we're not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, including lost profits, labour or installation costs, arising from use of the site or our products. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the product involved.

Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law that can't be waived.

14. Indemnification

You agree to cover any claims, losses or costs (including reasonable legal fees) that we face because you broke these terms or the law.

15. Events outside our control

We're not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including severe weather, carrier delays, supply shortages, labour disputes or emergencies.

16. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.

17. General

If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest still applies. These terms and the policies in section 2 are the entire agreement between you and us about using the site and buying from us. We may suspend or end your access to the site if you break these terms.
