The S-5-U is our most popular S-5! seam clamp, and the universal one. It fits about 85% of the standing seam profiles made in North America, with no holes in the roof.

What it fits

  • Vertical standing seams, and it rotates 90 degrees to fit many horizontal seams
  • Most structural (metal building) profiles and most popular architectural profiles
  • Heavy-duty grip from two T-30 Torx round-point setscrews

Best for

Mounting snow guards, solar arrays and rooftop utilities on standing seam metal roofs. It's a non-penetrating clamp, so the roof stays intact.
